New Shoes

(Heels- Peroni, Shorts- Aritzia, Shirt- Forever 21, Headband- Costa Blanca)

So, here's the new pair of heels I bought when I was over in Italy this summer.  I have to say, they are the best, most comfortable heels I've ever worn. The trend in Italy is unarguably high, chunky heels.  Just wondering, how long will it take for this trend to reach us in North America?  As much as I adore the look of skinny stilettos, let's face it, they are tricky to walk leisurely along in, even for runway models.  (check this out)

But now, with these sturdy and comfortable heels, you can take your mind off your feet.  Its a win-win situation for us girls looking for style and height.

Sparkly Pink

I'm sorry that I haven't been very timely with my blog posts lately, but I've been crazy busy with work and also I've been trying to visit my beloved cottage every chance I get.  Anyway, I'm back now and will try to post as much as possible! Hopefully everyone has been having a good summer.  I don't know about you, but I can't believe how fast time is passing! Only 2 more weeks until I'll have my new place in the city and back to my studies in Fashion Communication.

I just wanted to share with you a new trend that I've seen and absolutely love! Its painting one finger nail a different colour than the rest. I tried it here with sparkles over top of my favourite pink and I'm pretty pleased with the result.  It's an extra little touch that makes your manicure a little more girly and exciting! Tell me what girl doesn't like a little bling?
