Cold Fall Feeling

We're at that point now where the winter jacket and boots are going to have to come out from the back of the closet. Surprisingly, it hasn't snowed yet and it's almost December. I'm not complaining; I'm not much of a fan of snow, but it is definately my favourite time of the year for fashion because it means lots of layers and lots of accessories ;)

Here's my new Vince Camuto coat that I bought for this fall/winter season. It's been my new favourite thing to wear. It's everything that I was looking for in a coat: a hood (with fur, which is even better), knee length and complete with elbow patches. All ready to battle the Canadian winter. Now I just need a some mitts and a scarf.

This past weekend I was working at The Clothing Show in Toronto held at the Exibition Place. It is an event that is held every year to help showcase some of the best local designer talent. I met so many amazing designers, who all gave me so much inspiration. Even though they only had a little booth to have their merchandise set up, some of their set ups were unbelieveable! Tiff (Toronto International Film Festival) is finally coming to an end. I managed to get out and see at least one screening between the chaos of all my school work. It's that time of year again, where the madness of school starts. It was my first week back and already have been assigned 5 projects. My next couples of posts will most likely be me showing you my finished projects because they will be taking over my life for a little while. Hope everyone has had a good first week of school! New Shoes

So, here's the new pair of heels I bought when I was over in Italy this summer.  I have to say, they are the best, most comfortable heels I've ever worn. The trend in Italy is unarguably high, chunky heels.  Just wondering, how long will it take for this trend to reach us in North America?  As much as I adore the look of skinny stilettos, let's face it, they are tricky to walk leisurely along in, even for runway models.  (check this out)
